In addition to worship activities on Sundays, Brighton Uniting Church has a number of regular activities to which people from the wider community are invited.

If you would like further information about any of these, please contact the Church Office.

Parents are the first and most important teachers, as they nurture children’s understanding of God. Programs for children at Brighton Uniting Church recognise this, and our aim is to create a caring environment where children can learn about God and explore their faith as part of the Brighton Uniting Church community.

Come along to Playgroup, Kid’s Club or Sunday worship and join us!

All new children are placed in age-appropriate groups, with special attention to make them feel welcome.

Please feel free to discuss any concerns or questions with the children’s program coordinators, who can be contacted via the Church Office.

Our Values:
• Fun
• Creative
• Bible-based

Computer Access

Brighton Computer Access is located in the rooms at the rear of the church (443 Brighton Road). Brighton church members are welcome to join the public for individual tuition.

The helpers work individually with participants in a non-threatening, non-competitive environment to help them learn how to use their various computer items. As a group, the helpers have experience and knowledge with computers (Windows 7 and 10 particularly), Apple IOS (iPhone and iPad), Android (Samsung phones and tablets particularly, but also other manufacturers using Android operating systems). Our experience can also help with other operating systems and manufacturer’s equipment. The Group caters for any age and any level of computer experience. So, if you have never had a computer, smart phone or tablet before and you have just acquired such a device then we can help you connect to the Internet, set up and configure your device so that you can enjoy all that it offers you. Typically the participants want to use email, internet searching such as Google, YouTube, Facebook, FaceTime, Skype and manage the photos on their device. Come and learn how to have face to face contact with family and friends living interstate and overseas. It is amazing what you can do. Come as often as you are able to, enjoy the friendly environment, have a cup of tea/coffee and learn some new skills.
